An elephant’s tragic death in Kerala on May 27th after a local allegedly fed her a pineapple stuffed with crackers has led to many expressing their anger and grief across India.

She was pregnant and hungry and went to some locals in Malapurram town in Kerala, a state in South India. The pineapple lynched her Lower jaw and tongue and after days of excruciating pain, she died standing in a river. A wildlife officer in Silent Valley National Park, stated that it died standing in River Velliyar after it suffered an injury in its lower jaw.

The vet that did the post Mortem stated, “I removed it’s foetus. Emotionally, it was an unusual case for me.”
People have taken to twitter posting sketches expressing their rage and disappointment in the human race.
